About this program
The Power99 Junior Broadcasters Academy is a four-week intensive program that gives young students a real taste of professional radio broadcasting. Trainees work in the Power99 FM studio in Islamabad, guided by experienced journalists and radio producers.
Students research stories that matter to them, conduct interviews in their communities, record and edit audio, and ultimately broadcast their own segment live on Power99 FM. By the end of the program, every trainee walks away with a broadcast certificate and a portfolio piece they can be proud of.

Who can apply
Open to students currently in Grades 5–8 (approximately ages 10–14). No prior experience needed — only curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to speak up. Students must be based in or able to travel to Islamabad for in-person sessions.
