Pakistan's pioneering media and education organisation since 2002 — empowering children, journalists, and communities through the power of radio.
The Communicators (Pvt.) Ltd. was founded in 2002 and registered with SECP as Pakistan's first dedicated children and youth media organisation. We hold PEMRA broadcast licences for three stations: Power99 FM in Islamabad (99 FM), Abbottabad (99 FM), and Vehari.
Over two decades we have built a unique model that combines broadcast radio, interactive education, journalist training, and digital storytelling — reaching some of Pakistan's most underserved communities. Our work spans out-of-school children, displaced populations, climate-affected communities, and aspiring journalists from remote regions.
We work as implementation partners for UNESCO, DW Akademie, British Council, USAID, IOM, Plan International, and CARE International — bringing global best practices in Communication for Development to Pakistan's unique media landscape.
Curriculum-aligned broadcast education for out-of-school and under-served children. UNESCO best practice.
Using media to drive social change — health, migration, climate, and community development campaigns.
