Ms. Khadija khan an educationist and Early Childhood Development expert in this program discussed that children under age 9 are especially vulnerable during times of crisis due to their dependence on caregivers and the fact that their bodies and minds are at highly critical points in development.

She further shared that the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for increased access to quality affordable early childhood education. it is the most critical time for positive intervention.

Children’s development during this stage is strongly affected by their environment, and that effect continues to exert a strong influence on the rest of their lives. It is of the utmost importance to education and life skills.
